A decade of creating meaningful social and environmental change

Here is a selection of projects I am proud of putting out into the world

Women Climate Collective: Empowering Women for Climate Leadership

Women Climate Collective is a vibrant community of women in the climate and/or gender space incubated by Purpose and supported by Foundation L’Oréal dedicated to amplifying women's roles in the climate and gender ecosystem. Currently, it has 2,000+ members and 16 champions across India, addressing 12 critical climate issues with passion and dedication. I worked with Purpose as a consultant to lead design and execution of the LevelUp Capacity Building Program to empower the community to strengthen their skills on topics including Fundraising; Engagement with government stakeholders; Community Management and Leadership Development.

The Women Climate Collective won a Bronze in the Sustainability, Environment & Climate Networking or Community Organizations, Community Engagement Categories in the 2024 Anthem Awards

Help Delhi Breathe: Mobilising Citizen and Government Action Against Air Pollution

Help Delhi Breathe is a joint effort by citizens, businesses, and organizations to combat air pollution. It has inspired community into action and engaged with local government officials to implement groundbreaking clean air policies in India. As project lead, I successfully mobilised Delhi's residents to support the Delhi Electric Mobility Plan for electrified transport by 2030, enforce the Delhi Solar Policy for solar installations on government and public buildings, and introduce over 1000 electric buses for the city through impactful strategy, partnerships, government engagement and creative interventions. Since 2016, Help Delhi Breathe has reached over 500 million people, garnered 2000+ media mentions, and gained clean air pledges from over 3 million citizens in 48 of Delhi's 70 constituencies.
The project has been featured in  Routledge Publication, Design for Social Innovation and Global art project, ‘Inside Out’.  It was also a Finalist in the Environment and Sustainability Category in the 2018 Shorty Social Good Awards.

EV my Delivery: Pushing Electric vehicles for E-commerce Deliveries.

A multi-city initiative aimed at transitioning last-mile delivery fleets to electric vehicles by mobilising consumer to hold e-commerce companies to their environmental commitments. As  project lead, my team and I ensured seamless stakeholder management, development of a strategic ecosystem, direct both, project and client expectations, and altering public perception.

We managed to garner commitments from four companies namely: Zypp Electric and Moeving, within a span of six months. This success was achieved by captivating young consumers in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai with creative content, engaging installations, and social media contests, cultivating a robust public demand for electric delivery options. Concurrently, we deepened stakeholder engagement by fostering a collaborative network among decision-makers, OEMs, think tanks, and logistics providers, creating a unified front to facilitate this sustainable transition.

Care with Dignity: Pushing for Better Care and Respect in Women's Health in Bihar

My goal as the lead campaigner was to establish a women-led collective in India. While access to sexual and reproductive healthcare may be on the rise, the quality of these services often falls short due to societal taboos and inequality, leaving many women reluctant to seek the help they need. By conducting both qualitative and quantitative research, holding workshops with stakeholders, and engaging in social listening, I headed the development of a multi-year public awareness campaign. This initiative aimed to highlight the need for dignity and care in women's healthcare experiences. Now in its fourth year, the campaign boasts over 15,000 digital supporters and earned a Gold award at the 2022 Indigo Design Awards, recognising our significant impact on social change through mixed media.

Advocating Rights of Older People: Communications and fundraising for HelpAge International

I significantly contributed to advocating for the rights and livelihoods of older people by creating impactful content for HelpAge International in Vietnam and Ethiopia. Through field visits in crisis-affected areas and interactions with beneficiaries, I captured compelling stories, photographs, interviews, and case studies. My work vividly highlighted HelpAge's efforts in promoting elderly rights, fueling the Support a Grandparent/Adopt a Grandchild fundraising campaigns. By distributing this content to media and civil organizations, I amplified the cause, driving awareness and support for elderly individuals' dignity and well-being.

If you’d like to partner together to deliver impact, do get in touch. I am excited to hear from you!
